 Pauline McMillian Rinehart, age 84, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 15, 1926 in Parrottsville, Tennessee to Lora Irene Trentham and Robert McMillian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Rinehart; and son, Gary Dale Rinehart. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Price and special friend Mike Seals of White Pine, and Carmen Davis and husband Gaines of Morristown; granddaughter, Kristin Craft and husband Jerry of White Pine; grandson, Matthew Price and special friend Lindsey Smith of White Pine; great-granddaughter Kelsie Craft; and great-grandsons Carson Craft and Anthony Price; sisters-in-law, Maxine Rinehart of Dandridge; Pat Rinehart of White Pine; and brother-in-law, Claude Rinehart of Dandridge; several cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel in White Pine. Family, friends and pallbearers will meet at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:15am to go in procession to Resthaven Cemetery for a 11:00am graveside interment service with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating.

 JAMES ALLEN FRALEY, age 74, of White Pine, TN and formerly of Lodi, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital following a lingering illness. He was of the Baptist faith. He was born in Floyd County, KY to the late Anna and Lacy Fraley. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from General Motors in Cleveland, Ohio in 1987 with 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Carey. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Liz Fraley; daughter, Betty Cazzarin of White Pine; son, Lenny Fraley of White Pine; grandchildren, Daniel Carey, Jessica Dalton; great-grandchildren, Cailyn and Khloe Dalton, all of White Pine; sisters, Lucy, Cathy and Zelvia; brothers, vernie and Doug; several nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 from the Farrar White Pine Chapel with rev. Thomas Holt officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

 BETTY JO GOFORTH FARRAR, age 78, of White Pine, TN passed away Sunday morning, June 12, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Gus and Tina Kimbrough Goforth of McMinn Co. Betty was active and well known in the White Pine community where she faithfully worked along side her husband Joe in caring for and assisting families at Farrar Funeral Home of White Pine. She was also a charter member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, 50 year member of the Eastern Star and was a member of the Leadvale Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe T. Farrar. Betty is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry Farrar and Jack Pewitt of White Pine, Angela Farrar and Larry Pressley of Knoxville; grandchildren, Benjamin F. Pewitt and Rebekah Aileen Pewitt, Bradley Ira Pressley and Nicholas Taylor Pressley; sister, Patsy Moyers; special niece, Stacey Moyers and nephew, Lynn Moyers; several cousins of McMinn Co.; brothers-in-law, James C. (Agnes) Farrar, Dr. William (Frances) Farrar; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jean (Jim) Smith, Brenda (Frank) Juntumen and Helen “Pinky” Farrar.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011, 8:00 pm at Leadvale Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad and Rev. Charles Robison officiating. Interment graveside services will be Wednesday, 11:00am at White Pine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the White Pine Library, 1708 Main St. White Pine, TN 37890 or Betty’s Garden, % Chandler House, P.O. FELIX "BOOT" BELCHER, age 78, of White Pine, TN passed away June 7, 2011 at UT Medical Center as the result of an accident. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jack was a member of Masonic Lodge F&AM #767 in Morristown. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers an a sister. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Glenna Belcher; children, Joyce (Bob) White, Allen Belcher, Mike Case and Denissa Belcher; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Tim, Todd and Glen Belcher; sister, Lauren Stephenson; several nieces, nephews and other family members. Family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. Masonic Rites will be given at 8:00 p.m., officiated by Masponic Lodge F&AM #767. A graveside interment service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in White Pine Cemetery.

 Jack D. Roberson, age 75, of White Pine, TN and formerly of Candler, NC, went to be with his Lord on June 5, 2011 surrounded by his family at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a proud American. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be greatly missed at the local flea markets and gun shows by his many friends and fellow traders, “Jack was always trading something.” He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Edna Cathie Roberson; daughter, Deborah Roberso;, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura “Doodle” Roberson; children, Reggie (Michelle) Herndon, Dewayne (Melody) Roberson and Kevin (Jamie) Roberson; grandchildren, Boone, Shelby, Chase, Tyler, Natalie, Eli and Joe Roberson, Jessica Yarborough, Laura Herndon and Colby Ross; brother, James Ray Roberson; several nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00pm on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. The family will proceed to White Pine Cemetery following the visitation for a 3:00pm military graveside service with the Tennessee Army National Guard Funeral Honors Team and Rev.  Rhoda “Jane” Lane Hardin, age 75, of White Pine, TN passed away at her home on Friday, May 27, 2011. Jane was a longtime employee of Allen Clinic in White Pine, and retired from TVA in 1988, where she worked as a medical technician. Jane enjoyed feeding her birds, tending to her flowers and working in her yard. The family would like to express a special thank you to Jeff Horner for his help through the years.
Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Brad and Belle Samples Lane; sisters, Hulda Brooker, Maggie Keller, Faye Southerland, Nell Lane; and a brother, Alfred Lane. She is survived by a daughter, Ronda (Danny) Holdway; sister, Elsie Johnso;, special niece, Barbara Johnson Bingham; best friend, Faye Greene; and sisters-in-law, Mug Robertson, Sue Arwood, and Punchie Kryder. The family would like to express a special thank you and heartfelt appreciation to Jennifer Eisenhower, FNP for all her wonderful care and bedside manner. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine from 5-7:00pm. PHILLIP D. KIMBROUGH, age 50, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 after a brief battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Laurence and Florence Kimbrough, and Jesse James and Cordie Baxter; father, Jackie D. Kimbrough and step-mother, Margie Kimbrough. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Rita Kimbrough; and children, Haley and Cecil Sartain of White Pine; mother, Louise and Roy Webb of Cosby; siblings, Allen (Stephanie) Kimbrough, Tracy Durham, Robin Ramsey, David (Judy) Kimbrough, Kristy(Tommy) Cagle, all of Morristown and Shana Clevenger of Newport; also several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Smokey Mountain Hospice, and to his son Cecil Sartain for all the special care given to him during his illness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine, with the Rev. Raymond Estes and Rev. Glenn Ball officiating. Marguerite Leone Justus Rankin, age 93, died Sunday, May 15, 2011, at her home in White Pine, TN. Mrs. Rankin was born November 17, 1917, in Knoxville, TN. She was a graduate of Maryville College and a teacher, by profession, in Knoxville and in Charlotte, NC. She was also an artist, a genealogist, and a flower gardener. In 1952, she started the first Girl Scout troop in White Pine, and over the next twenty-five years, she volunteered her services both in White Pine and in Nashville, TN. She received the Thanks Badge, the highest award given to a volunteer, for her work with girls in the Girl Scout organization. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Morristown where she was active as a deacon and teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Marshall Rankin; her son, Don Marshall Rankin; and two grandchildren, Rebecca Lynn and Donna Marie. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Rankin Clark and husband Mark, of Arbovale, WV; Nancy Rankin Smith and husband Richard, of Lexington, KY and Carol Jean Rankin of Greensboro, NC; daughter-in-law Marianne Greer Rankin of Knoxville; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 19, 2011, from 5:30 – 8:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. After a private graveside service, a memorial service will be held Friday, May 20, at 11:30 am at First Presbyterian Church in Morristown. FRANK A. PROSISE, age 83, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on Sunday, May 15, 2011. He was a Korean War veteran and retired from the Tennessee National Guard after 23 years of service with the 278th. He is preceded in death by his parents, A. H. and Clara Sweet Prosise; brothers, Earnest, Jr., and Charles Leon Prosise; sister, Marge Runion; and grandson, Charles Scott Prosise. Survivors include his wife, Mary Prosise; children, Randy (Donna) Prosise, Kathy (Ben) Raleigh, Robin Prosise (Shug James), Vesta Clydette (Tommy) Cutshaw, Kim (Darrell) Smith, and Lisa (Gary) Ratliff; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Albert (Willie) Prosise of Oak Ridge; sister, Louise Gibson of Texas; also several nieces, nephews and other family members. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Winters and Rev. Kenneth Wilson officiating.  HERBERT DOYLE FOX, age 83, of White Pine, TN passed away at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System on Monday, April 18, 2011. He was a deacon and loyal member of First Baptist Church of White Pine, past Worshipful Master and a 60 year member of Leadvale Masonic Lodge #390, an active member of the White Pine Senior Citizens, past president of the White Pine Cemetery Board where he served for 25 years, a member of the local American Legion, and a 15 year veteran of the Tennessee Army National Guard 278th Regiment and served during the Korean Conflict, and was a life member of the Tennessee Defense Force. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Smith Fox; his parents, Gus and Leda FAox and two brothers, Jeff and T. A. Fox. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Marilyn Mathis Fox; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Donald Ivy; grandsons, Adam and Justin Ivy; three step-children and a host of step-grandchildren; two nieces; a nephew and a host of friends and other family members. The family would like to express a special thank you to Amedisys Home Healthcare for their wonderful care. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 following the 8:00 p.m. Masonic Rites Service given by Leadvale Lodge #390 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of White Pine.  CECELIA “JILL” REYNOLDS ZIMMERMANN STUART, age 93, of White Pine, TN died on April 9, 2011 at the Franklin House of Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a member of the White Pine First Church of God. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Guy Allen Stuart; parents, Marvin Christian and Maude (Reynolds) Zimmermann; brother, Dr. Jackson C. Zimmermann; great-grandson, Cole Allen Puryear and son-in-law, William Lehman. H. K. (BUDDY)JINKS, age 71, of White Pine, TN passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. Survivors include his daughter, Terry Lindsey and husband, Mike; step-son, Scott Barnett; grandchildren, Megan Greene, Hayden Jinks and Chris Fuller; brothers, Clifford Jinks and wife, Johnnie, Eugene Jinks and wife, Norma; niece and nephew, Lisa Smith and Jeff Jinks. several other nieces, nephews and cousins; personal friends, Jeanette and Henry Guthrie. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City. Graveside interment service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. RUFUS D. MANIS, age 93, of White Pine, TN died peacefully at Heritage Center in Morristown, TN on April 4, 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Surrett Manis; sister, Helen Bryant; and brother, Johnny Manis. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Doyle and Marilyn Manis; granddaughter, Donna Yates; great-granddaughter and fiance`, Jessica Loveday and Will Jones; great-grandson, Joshua Loveday; brothers-in-law and wives, Donald and Carolyn Surrett, Earl and Betty Surrett; sisters-in-law, Polly Surrett and Mary Surrett Chambers; also several nieces and nephews. Rufus moved to White Pine from Hawkins County when he was a young teen. He worked as a farmer and then at American Enka, where he retired after 30 years of service. He was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in White pine, where he served as an usher for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 146, White Pine, TN 37890. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of White Pine with Rev. Mark McFadden and Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside interment service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at White Pine Cemetery.

 BERNICE LOUISE KERNS, age 68, of White Pine, TN died Wednesday morning, March 30, 2011 at 7 a.m. at her home. She was born on December 26, 1942 in Panther, WV, the daughter of the late Boyd and Zelma Mae McGuire Bailey. On June 11, 1971 she married Wayne Kerns, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2002. She is survived by her son, Kevin (Mary) Utt,; daughter, Pam Utt, both of White Pine; four grandchildren, Kenneth (Jessica) Utt, Devin Swann, Justin "George" Mickels, Steven Lilly; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Mikayla, Triston; sisters, Vunita (Richard) Stephens of Ohio, Faye (Ott) Trent of WV; brothers, Boyd (Joyce) Bailey, Jr., Milton (Dawn) Bailey, all of Ohio. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Clayton Wellman and Katrina Utt. Bernice was a founding member of Frankfort Baptist Church of Frankfort, OH. She also enjoyed selling handmade crafts for years at Dollywood. Friends are invited to gather in Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, OH on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. for a graveside service with Cliff Rowe officiating. Friends may visit at the Ebright Funeral Home in Frankfort, OH on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 5 until 8 p.m.

JERRY L. BROWN, age 76, of White Pine, TN passed away at his home on Friday, March 18, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Jerry was a retired Plant Superintendent from Summers & Taylor Paving Company, and was very active in the White Pine community, where he was a past president of the White Pine Lions Club, past president of the Jaycee’s, a former City Alderman for the town of White Pine, and former treasurer of the Babe Ruth Association. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Corine Brown; children, Tresa Hartsell, Gina Brown, Lance Brown, Monica Duckett, Natalie Benton and Carolyn McDaniel; grandchildren, Michael Hartsell, Danny Lee Hartsell, Blaine Hartsell III, Alexys Brown, Caleb Duckett, Landon Duckett, Savannah Benton, Christopher Benton, Tyler McDaniel, Nolen McDaniel and Peyton McDaniel; and sister, Virginia Thomason of Alabama; also several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine at 8:00pm with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside interment will be on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00am in Hamblen Memory Gardens in Morristown. Pallbearers will be Michael Hartsell, Danny Lee Hartsell, Blaine Hartsell III, Caleb Duckett, Landon Duckett, Christopher Benton, Tyler McDaniel and Nolen McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Ball, Albert Ballance, Olen Cameron and Stuart Nelson. AEDAN SMITH GOODRICH, infant son of Emily Smith and Andy Goodrich, passed away Monday, March 14, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Also survived by grandparents, Martha and John La, Kelley Goodrich and Ronnie Wilson, William Goodrich and Donetta Evans; great-grandparents, Charles and Joyce Hopkins; godmother, Courtney Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends. J. C. "JIM" LOVE, age 78, of White Pine, TN passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, March 2, 2011 at his home. He was born December 11, 1932 in the Sager Community of Jefferson County, the son of the late Mort and Nannie Miller Love. He was a wonderful man and beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother who brought joy to all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He retired from General Motors, Grand Rapids, MI and returned to Tennessee where he was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 57 years whom he married in 1953, Doris Hurst Love; daughter, Judy Love; son, Steve (Tammy) Love; grandchildren, Amy Hansin, Andrew (Jill) Love and Aaron Love; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Samantha; sister, Martha Lorene (Sis) Woods; brothers, Hubert Love and Frank "Fuzzie" Love and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Rev. Eddie Collier officiating. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. MARY GENEVA TABOR, age 75, of White Pine, TN passed away in Morristown, TN on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in White Pine. She is survived by her children, Debbie and Clyde Loyd, Donnie and Karen Tabot, Darrell and Rene` Tabor and Dean Tabor; grandchildren, Monica Cooper, Kameron Tabor, Lori Tabor, Derek and Carie Tabor, Lucas Tabor, Daniel Tabot, Dee` Tabor, April and Brad Brown and Mick and Jessica Loyd; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Virgie Head, Robert and Thomas Putnam; mother, Lula Lusk Burnette, all of North carolina; several nieces, nephews and other family members.  RALPH HOWARD ROBERTS, TNANG SSGT (Ret), age 61, of White Pine, TN was born on December 6, 1949 and passed on to his heavenly home on January 27, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Thorn Hill and was employed by Clayton Homes in White Pine. Ralph was proud to have served our country and was retired from the TN Army National Guard. He will receive full military honors at the graveside interment. He is preceded in death by his father, Junior Roberts. Richard J. Westgate, age 50, of White Pine, TN passed away at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare Systems on January 9, 2011. He was a member of French Broad Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father Red Westgate, and sister Becky Westgate. WILLAM “CARROLL” BAXLEY, age 84, of White Pine, TN passed away Wednesday morning, January 5, 2011. He was a member of the Leadvale Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his country in World War II. Carroll was a retired brakeman for Norfolk Southern Railroad and owned and operated the Catawba Restaurant for over 30 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ida Baxley,Sr.; brothers, Frank Baxley and Robert Baxley, Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Ann Murphy and two grandchildren, Christopher Brian Knight and Christa Knight D’Agnese.

Nancy C. Hance, age 69, of White Pine, TN passed away at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Knoxville, on December 29, 2010. She was a retired supervisor from American Enka after 35 years of service. Nancy was a member of First United Methodist Church of White Pine, and a loving mother and Nan. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Nile “Hoover” and Kathleen Conway Correll, and nephew Mike Williams. She was a member of Edward’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired after many years of service from the White Pine School Cafeteria. CLARENCE A. TURNER, age 91, of White Pine, TN formerly of Flint, MI passed away Friday, June 11, 2010. He was born February 21, 1918 in Ned, KY, the son of the late John B. and Nancy Ann Watts Turner. Following his service in the U.S. Army and World War II he worked as a coal miner and was thankful for the opportunity to go to work at General Motors where he retired after 30 years. Clarence was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed, hunting, fishing, vegetable gardening, raising fruit trees and also bird watching while relaxing in his gazebo. Following his retirement to White Pine, TN he became a member and cherished the fellowship of the Leadvale Baptist Church. He will be fondly remembered for his love of red trucks and how he truly loved his family and friends.

 MARY ELLEN GAMMON SURRETT, age 84, of White Pine, TN passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of White Pine.  JEWELL MAY BARTON CULL, age 93, of White Pine, TN passed away on May 16, 2010 at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System. She was born and raised in Mannford, Oklahoma. An accomplished nature artist, she volunteered at Pearl Harbor as a guard on a ship during World War II, and her paintings from there will be displayed during her funeral. She dedicated her life to her husband, family and service to others. She was an accomplished poet, writer and artisan, with a legacy of love of Christ to pass on. When she was able, she attended Seventh Day Adventist Church of Morristown with her daughter. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul A. PEARL M. THOMPSON, age 90, of White Pine, TN passed away at Morristown Hamblen Healthcare System on Monday, May 10, 2010. She was a member of Harvest Outreach Church. She passed on a legacy of faith to her children, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. MARGIE LEE MCCLURE departed this life Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital following an extended battle with leukemia. She was born January 31, 1934 in Mt. Vernon, KY, the daughter of Harmon and Rebecca Mink Jones and was of the Baptist faith. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Carl Donald (C.D.) McClure. Those left to grieve her passing are her son, Donald Ray McClure of White Pine, TN; sisters, Lorene Kirby of Mt. Vernon, KY and Betty (Ben) Ramsey of Richmond, KY; granddaughter, Tresa (David) Lee of Madison, AL; grandson, Frankie Lee McClure of Mauston, WI; four great-grandchildren; cousins and a host of nieces and nephews, among those very special friend and niece, Virginia Nicely of Berea, KY. PAUL MUSSON passed away suddenly on May 4, 2010. He was born July 21, 1937 in Kenton, OH, where he grew up on a farm. He was a member of the Ohio National Guard and worked at Whirlpool Corporation for 40 years before, retiring in 1999 when he moved to Tennessee. He was an avid outdoorsman and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest passion was spending time with family and especially his two granddaughters. He leaves behind to mourn his passing his wife of 50 years, Nancy Rish Musson; daughter, Kris; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Cindy; granddaughters, Erica and Kelsey; sister, Ann Sprang. CARL “TEEDLEY” EVERHART, age 79, of White Pine, TN passed away April 27, 2010 at Morristown Hamblen Health System. He was a life time member of Edwards Chapel United Methodist Church and enjoyed growing up and farming on the Kilgore family farm and helping others. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lottie Everhart; twin brother, Bob (Doris) Everhart; infant sister, Betty Jane; and infant niece, Lyndsey Noe. EULA RINEHART SNODDERLY, age 86, of White Pine, TN passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 14, 2010. She was born and raised in the Indian Creek Community of Jefferson Co., TN, the daughter of the late Charles H. and Callie Strange Rinehart. She was a long-time resident of White Pine with her late husband of 63 years, Carl L. Snodderly. Eula was an active member of the First Baptist Church of White Pine and owned and operated Eula’s Beauty Shop for many years and ultimately retired from Dollywood. Preceded in death by her sister, Louease Garoni; brothers, Leonard, C.B., and J.M. Rinehart.

EUGENE “GENE” GOFORTH, of White Pine, TN, passed away after a brief illness at Fort Sanders Medical Center on March 18, 2010. He was a member of Leadvale Baptist Church and was a World War II Veteran, where he served as a medic, Gene was a member of the Leadvale Masonic Lodge #390, where he was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite for over 50 Years, and a member of the Kerbela Shrine. Gene worked at American Enka, and retired from Roadway Express with over 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife Margaret Goforth; children, Anthony and Denise Kimbrough, William B. and Andrea Lampkin, Tina and Charlie Allen; grandchildren, Annie and Megan Kimbrough, Misty, Matt, Joshua, Alexandria, and Kayden Henry, all of White Pine; sister, Louise Jones of Collegedale, TN; also several nieces and nephews. REV. KENNETH W. RICHEY, age 80 of White Pine, TN went to be with his Lord Friday morning, March 5, 2010. Rev. Richey was a retired pastor of the First Baptist Church of White Pine where he served faithfully for 27 years. He made himself available to minister to the needs and offer Christian love to anyone in the community that called upon him. Kenneth was a well-respected citizen and pillar of the White Pine area, where he was a member of the White Pine Lions Club and was always supportive of community activities. Besides his dedication to his ministry, he enjoyed farming and being with his family. He will be affectionately remembered as a beloved husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all that have been touched by him. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Isobel Richey; children, Danny Richey, Dorothy Richey and David (Amy) Richey; grandchildren, Miranda Richey, Mirena (Tex) Hall, Abby and Ally Richey; great-grandchilden, Lizzy and Nola Hall; three sisters and several nieces and nephews. He was the former owner of Dandridge Building Supply and an employee of Allen-Surrett Hardware. Don was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church of White Pine. SYLVIA “GAIL” (REED) SINARD, age 68, of White Pine, TN passed away Thursday evening January 14, 2010 following a brief illness. Gail was born May 23, 1941 in White Pine, TN, the daughter of the late Eulis and Nannie (Ward) Reed. She remained a life-long resident of White Pine, attending school, raising her family, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She worked at and retired from Magnavox. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister who will be remembered for her loving, self sacrificing deeds, generosity and hard work for the benefit of her family and many others. Preceded in death by her son, James Michael Sinard; sisters, Dorothy Blanchard and Carolyn Ellis. Funeral service will be held Sunday, January 17, 2010, 7:00 pm at the Leadvale Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Interment graveside services will be Monday, 11:00 am at White Pine Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening, 5:00 to 7:00 pm prior to services at the church.

Barbara Jean Patty Sutton, of White Pine, TN, formerly of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at her home. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church in White Pine, TN and enjoyed many years as director of White Pine Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel E. Patty. She is survived by her spouse, James Sutton; mother Elizabeth Braden Patty; sister, Phyllis Patty Turley; children, Cathy ODell, Jeff Sutton and Sammi Winstead; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. Special thanks are offered to honorary family member Frankie Samples, Dr. Tony Daniel and the staff of Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice. Funeral service for Mrs. Sutton will be on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 6:00pm in the chapel of Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Rev. Brian Osborne, Rev. Randy Irons and Rev. Mike Sledge officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Graveside interment will be on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 11:00am in Hamblen Memory Gardens, Morristown.

 LUCILLE LARGE, age 86, of White Pine, TN, a resident of the Jefferson County Nursing Home, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 29, 2009. She was a member of the Nina Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her father and mother, William McKinley and Addie Clevenger Large; brothers, Leonard, Paul and William "Bill" Large; sisters, Annie, Mary Frances, Margaret and Ruth. Survived by sister, Earlene Eddington of White Pine; brothers, James (Mildred) Large of Russellville, KY and Alvin (Margaret) Large of Dandridge; sisters-in-law, Joyce Large of White Pine and Reba Large of Powell; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 1, 2010 at the Farrar White Pine Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Norris and Dr. Earl McCosh officiating. Interment to follow at French Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
